Resident Engineer

Professional services to support onsite Virtual Private Cloud related infrastructure build and breakfix in Data Center.

Escort vendors engineers for hardware services and maintenances.Plan / Schedule and work closely with OEM vendors on physical installation, configuration, testing and break-fix for hardware.

Ensure all hardware for server, storage, network, and storage are mounted as per our design.

Follow up on cablings and patching request.Work with client team and vendor engineers for onsite troubleshooting.

To raise required process to follow client change and control for onsite access.

Provide physical hands-on support for all server hardware, e.g. power-cycle or reboot.

Requirements

Knowledge on server hardware, SAN storage and networking components (routers & switches)Technical know-how of server components, e.g. HDD, CPU, RAM, network, and storage cards.Ability to effectively communicate across multiple teams, multitasking skills are requiredGood trouble shooting skills/Detailed oriented with good organizational skills

Pay: $4,469.51 - $6,500.00 per month
