Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead β Data Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake, advanced SQL, Python, and modern ETL frameworks, along with a proven track record of leading data engineering projects and delivering scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines and solutions using Snowflake and other modern data technologies.
Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Build and manage ETL frameworks and data integration processes across various data sources.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained across the pipeline.
Provide technical leadership during development and deployment phases, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform.
Expertise in Advanced SQL with the ability to write complex, performance-optimized queries.
Proficient in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
Experience in designing and managing ETL/ELT frameworks using tools like Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, or similar.
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and cloud architecture.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services related to data analytics.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
