Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead – Data Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake, advanced SQL, Python, and modern ETL frameworks, along with a proven track record of leading data engineering projects and delivering scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines and solutions using Snowflake and other modern data technologies.
• Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Build and manage ETL frameworks and data integration processes across various data sources.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained across the pipeline.
• Provide technical leadership during development and deployment phases, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform.
• Expertise in Advanced SQL with the ability to write complex, performance-optimized queries.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Experience in designing and managing ETL/ELT frameworks using tools like Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and cloud architecture.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services related to data analytics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
