Site Commissioning Senior Engineer

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Responsibility

• Responsible for testing and commissioning of water and wastewater facilities, including onshore and offshore projects.
• Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning and startup plans.
• Create detailed procedures for testing, cleaning, and initial equipment/system startup.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during system startup activities.
• Design and deliver training programs and materials for process plant operations.
• Oversee and document all commissioning activities, including data collection, as-built records, O&M inputs, and design feedback.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all stakeholders.
• Foster and maintain strong working relationships with all project contacts.
• Focus on customer satisfaction to support broader organizational objectives.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and the effective use of business and technical insights.
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld and promote a safe work environment.
• Address safety concerns responsibly and help improve safety practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through networking and professional development.
• Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach, providing constructive feedback when needed.
• Participate in progress and commissioning meetings.
• Compile and deliver all required commissioning documentation and reports.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

• Min Degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Min 10 years of experience in Water and Waste Treatment or Oil and Gas onshore/offshore experience.
• Experience in project management / plant testing & commissioning / facility setup will be an added advantageProficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, good report writing skills
