Marketing Events Specialist

Our client, a local supplier of health and wellness products located at Sunset Way, is looking for a highly creative and organised Marketing Events Specialist to join their expanding team.

Job duties:

• Event planning and execution: plan, coordinate, and execute events, such as product samplings (outdoors, in-store, and online)
• Collaborating and partnering with companies, organisations, non-government and government agencies, educational institutions, and individuals. The incumbent is responsible for identifying, cultivating and maintaining close interactions with these stakeholders to increase brand awareness and broaden the company's market reach
• Social media content creation - assist with developing and implementing a social media content strategy that showcases our company's health and wellness products and other services. Create visual content (photography and videography) for social media, events, and marketing materials.
• PR and communications - developing and maintaining relationships with influencers, and other stakeholders to secure product reviews
• Budget management - managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective solutions
• Reporting and analysis - providing regular reports and analysis on event success, social media engagement, and campaign ROI.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Events, Public Relations, or a related field
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in marketing, events, or a related field
• Excellent event planning and execution skills
• Strong marketing and PR skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.)
• Excellent photography and videography skills
• Ability to create engaging content for social media and marketing materials
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and social media management tools
