Operations Executive (Suntec)(5 days) / JY

Daily crude/fuel/chemicals/metal trading operations and prepare necessary documents including contracts, L/C application, invoices, supporting documents. Collate and analyze statistical data related to futures and paper trading, including daily profit and loss statements, margin statements, and hedge position registration. Liaise with suppliers, customers, agents, and banks to resolve documentation issues such as insurance renewals, banking discrepancies, and import checks. Understand the principles behind VaR (Value at Risk) calculations and provide risk-related feedback to support the company’s decision-making. Develop and propose profit models aligned with the company’s short-term and long-term goals, considering the structure of spot and futures products. Assist in the execution of spot trading contracts, data consolidation, and client management. Provide support on administrative tasks as required by the Operations Manager and Traders. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Demonstrated willingness to learn and ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving work environment. Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to work efficiently under minimal supervision. Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin (both verbal and written) is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Immediate availability or the ability to start within a short notice period will be considered an advantage.
