Assistant Finance Manager (Group Reporting)

Responsbilities:

Group Financial Reporting

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and year-end Group financial statements in accordance with SFRS(I)
• Ensure timely submission of management reports to senior management and external stakeholders
• Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for external audit and statutory filings
• Participate in system improvement initiatives such as the upcoming Cognos revamp

Financial Analysis & Review

• Perform analytical reviews on group performance, including variances and key financial indicators
• Provide insights and commentary to management to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with business units to understand key drivers behind financial results

Technical Accounting Support

• Provide technical accounting guidance to subsidiaries and business units on complex transactions and accounting treatments
• Monitor updates to accounting standards and assess their impact on Group reporting
• Support the preparation of financial disclosures for SGX announcements and Annual Report

Audit & Compliance

• Liaise with external auditors on audit and review matters
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and SGX listing rules
• Support internal audit and corporate governance requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA Singapore/ACCA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant group consolidation and reporting experience in a listed company or Big 4 audit firm
• Strong technical knowledge of SFRS(I), IFRS, and SGX reporting requirements
• Proficient in group reporting systems (e.g., Cognos, SAP) and MS Excel
• Meticulous, analytical, and confident in dealing with complex data
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
