You will be joining a world-class marketing communications team responsible for our globally distributed branded content, which generates 1-2 million daily impressions on our social media alone.
You will be responsible for strategizing, planning and crafting content around our award-winning products through our global marketing and social media platforms. At the same time, you’ll have to don your writer’s hat and support the team on copy for sales and events.
This role will also involve working with our key global partners such as: HBO (for its Game of Thrones series), Warner Bros and DC (Batman and Harley Quinn) as well as Blizzard (Overwatch); championship-winning esports teams such as Paper Rex, Team Liquid, T1, Cloud9 and more; and the world’s most premier esports tournaments. This includes Riot Games’ League of Legends World Championships and VALORANT Champions, Dota 2’s The International, and Valve’s official Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors.
You should be a confident and clear communicator with effective presentation skills and the ability to appropriately challenge decisions and negotiate — ultimately getting targeted concepts across the line.
Responsibilities
- Support Senior Content Associates in project management and execution.
- Write briefs that demonstrate clear thought and strategy.
- Manage a social media content calendar, including scheduling posts and reporting performance.
- Work closely with creative, community and production teams to produce campaign deliverables.
- Be deeply involved in content creation — including short-form vertical videos — for our global social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the wider business needs and endeavor for the best outcomes.
- Create eDMs and marketing collateral for sales and events.
- Support copywriters in drafting copy that converts for sales, events, and short blogs. Opportunity to take on additional projects if interest and competency are demonstrated.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or a related course of study.
- Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing communications/content marketing role.
- Resilience and adaptability. Things are ever-evolving in the spirit of the best possible outcomes.
- Articulate and with strong speaking skills.
- Confident writer. Impeccable grammar is a must.
- Keen attention to detail while working on multiple projects. Be unafraid to ask questions in the spirit of learning.
- Native social media user. Must be familiar with Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and live streaming sites such as Twitch.
- Able to work well with different personalities in a fast-paced environment.
