PROJECT MANAGER (SOLAR)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle of solar facility installations, from initial planning and design to final commissioning and handover
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor the day-to-day activities in the field, managing the flow of information
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify and resolve any issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Be a visible leader onsite, assessing progress and ensuring safe work practices
• Coordinate closely with client Site Personnels and Safety Coordinators
• Identify issues proactively and work with the team to resolve effectively
• Implement and monitor key project processes
• Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems and communicate impacts to all parties
• Review proposed variations and delays in the works
• Provide regular project reports/updates to customers, internal departments and management

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience managing rooftop solar projects and familiar with local fire code and WSH regulations
• Excellent communicator verbally and in writing

Added advantage for:

1. Candidates with qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Renewable/Sustainable/Clean Energy Engineering or equivalent
2. Professional certification such as Workplace Safety & Health
