Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) – formerly known as Textile and Fashion Federation (Singapore) is the official association for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore. Embracing a transformative vision, SFC aspires to become a Vibrant Asian Hub for Responsible Fashion.

SFC also manages Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) and The Cocoon Space (TCS):

DORS, located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally-based designer brands in Singapore.

Career Opportunity:

As an Executive in the Partnerships & Engagement department, your primary responsibilities will encompass customer service operations, membership and partnership support, and event space management. While experience in the fashion sector is an advantage, we strongly encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, including those currently underrepresented in the industry.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Membership Inquiries & Sales Conversion

  • Manage email and walk-in inquiries related to memberships and events space.
  • Convert inquiries into sign-ups by providing accurate and personalized communication.
  • Handle sales inquiries from platforms

Member Acquisition & Retention

  • Support strategies to attract and retain members by executing campaigns and gathering feedback for improvement.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, set up, and support events, including issuing quotations, invoices, and tracking payments, site inspection.
  • Oversee space setup and teardown, including furniture and event-specific arrangements.

Private Office Management

  • Manage private offices tenants, ensuring timely updates and payment tracking.

Enhance Membership Benefits

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and ensure benefits align with member needs.

Member Onboarding & Engagement

  • Assist in onboarding new members and monitor engagement to improve satisfaction and conversion rates.

Communication & Marketing Support

  • Help implement communication strategies and support marketing campaigns to generate quality leads and drive membership growth.

Office & Asset Management

  • Oversee office supplies, maintain organization, and update physical and electronic asset inventories.

Reporting & Process Updates

  • Prepare membership and financial reports.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for continuous improvement.

Ad-Hoc Support

  • Flexibly handle and support the team with additional tasks and special projects as needed.


Pre-requisites

  • Diploma or equivalent with proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to handle inquiries, provide personalized communication, and convert leads into memberships or sales.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and executing events, including managing logistics, setting up spaces, handling invoicing, and coordinating vendors and payments.
  • Knowledge of membership-based services and sales strategies, including member acquisition, retention, and engagement, with a focus on executing campaigns and tracking progress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track payments and memberships, and maintain detailed records. Familiarity with managing office supplies and asset inventories.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to manage ad-hoc tasks, support special projects, and adapt to changing priorities within a dynamic team environment.
  • Required to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends if needed
