Senior Media and Communications Executive

This is a marketing communications role with a focus on content development and event planning, marketing and execution:

Responsibilities

• Project manage the production of Chamber publications including e-newsletters, e-book and Annual Review as well as editorial, design & layout
• Work closely with the team to drive the growth of the Chamber’s social media presence (primarily LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube)
• Develop compelling thought leadership content aligned with the Chamber’s activities, objectives and values across print, web, and social media platforms
• Manage executive communications, speeches, media releases and op-eds
• Provide support in maintaining media relations and handle media queries and press coverage
• Provide support to the planning and execution of the Chamber’s flagship business awards including market research to curate and prospect for potential nominees, manage production of awards videos and programme booklet
• Help conceptualize, market and manage other key Chamber events from start to on-site execution and conclude with post-event follow-ups 
• Maintain and optimise the Chamber’s website and social media platforms’ performance, overseeing SEO and providing statistical analysis & reporting
• Any other duties as may be assigned by your reporting manager and the Chief Executive Officer

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proven track record of cross-channel campaigns and communications strategies
• Positive attitude, adaptable problem-solver
• Fluent in spoken and written English with a flair for writing 
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in the planning and production of print and online publications
• Proficient in social media and digital marketing
• Proficiency in the use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign will be a big advantage including basic knowledge of HTML/CSS coding
