Responsibilities
AEI 3.0 Community Engagement
Collaborate closely with the Head, Institute to define the objectives, structure, and programmes for outreach and engagement activities, supporting AEI's Growth in Asia Strategy Partners.
Lead and project manage study trips (incoming and outgoing) and donor-related programmes, ensuring seamless execution.
Develop partnerships with key stakeholders, managing all aspects of logistics, procurement, liaising, classroom and activity arrangements.
Represent AEI at engagement events, requiring occasional evening, weekend, and overseas travel.
Programme Management for ELT
Manage participants' expectations regarding programme requirements and address any concerns or requests that arise.
Assist in the preparation and execution of the recruitment process (interviews, selection, onboarding) to ensure smooth delivery.
Engage participants throughout the programme and manage their expectations effectively.
Handle enquiries from potential participants.
Stakeholder Management (Trainers & Coaches)
Ensure smooth and high-quality administrative support for curriculum delivery and the Business Growth Plan (BGP).
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to meet programme objectives and ensure the delivery of quality outcomes.
ELT Overseas Immersion
Ensure seamless planning and delivery of overseas immersion activities.
Oversee trip logistics during travel to ensure a safe and meaningful experience for ELT participants.
Build rapport with participants to foster strong working relationships.
ELT Publicity Events (Marketing & Alumni)
Ideate suitable themes and topics that align with participants' learning needs.
Ensure efficient administration and smooth delivery of events.
Execute events to maximise turnout and engagement.
Strengthen bonds with participants to build positive relationships.
Event Management (SME Development Series)
Liaise with speakers and partners during pre-event planning to ensure all logistical needs are met.
Prepare event mailers, coordinate with partners to promote the event, and monitor registrations to drive attendance.
Oversee event execution to ensure smooth delivery and that all guests are well taken care of.
Conduct post-event evaluations for continuous improvement and future planning.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Degree (specialisation in business management preferred but not mandatory).
Experience in stakeholder management and external-facing roles.
At least six years of relevant working experience.
Outgoing personality with a passion for engaging people at all levels.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
Maturity and confidence to engage with industry professionals, SMEs, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and board members.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Experience in website content management or other online platforms would be an advantage.
Strong administrative skills are highly essential; must be independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
Willing to work on occasional weekends and weekday evenings, depending on programme or event needs.
Other Information
Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
