Manager, Environment, Health and Safety-Naval Services

Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Plan and execute the safety management system audits
• Supports project & department to comply with EHS regulations & policies
• Working with clients to develop or make improvements to the safety management system
• Working with operations/EHS team to develop policies and procedures specific to their needs
• Organises and conducts EHS inspection on project assigned
• Drives project EHSMS for compliances
• Participates in EHS related incident investigation
• Manages EHS management policies & procedures
• Undertakes any other tasks as directed by SVP/Head, Naval Services and VP/Head, EHS

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree related to EHS or any Engineering fields
• Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification & Confined Space Assessor Certification are added advantage
• Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Shipbuilding & Ship Repairs regulation
• Good report writing & incident investigation & analytical skills
• Possess strong leadership & interpersonal skill
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting and presentation purpose

Other Information:

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
