About the Job

Singapore University of Social Sciences is one of Singapore's six autonomous universities and its mission is to provoide lifelong education that equips learners to serve society. Home to more than 15,000 students, SUSS provides an applied education that targets both fresh school leavers and adult learers, with a foucs on the social sciences. It adopts a flexible and practice-focused learning approach and offers more than 70 degree programmes in various disciplines.

The School of Science and Technology (SST) promotes profession-centric and career-ready education in Science and Technology. Our inclusive, immersive and in-employment education transforms SST graduates into professionals equipped with the relevant knowledge, employable skills and work experiences.

SST is now looking to recuit passionate full-time faculty members in the area of InfoComm Technology who are aligned with our education aspiration. We welcome candidates with a strong passion for teaching, research, and industry collaboration to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Deliver and develop courses, including designing assignments and assessments.
• Supervise student capstone projects and collaborate with domain experts on interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Conduct academic and/or applied research independently and within a team.
• Engage with industry partners to identify opportunities for student projects and research collaborations.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong expertise or industry experience in high-demand areas such as Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning is an advantage.
• Proven record of high-quality research publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with external stakeholders.
