Position: Career Development Operations Executive (Temporary Contract)
Role Summary:
This role is to provide operational and administrative support to CD initiatives, student programmes, and events. It includes supporting in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency. From May 2025, this role will also cover responsibilities for a staff member on maternity leave, ensuring continuity in administrative and logistical support for CD operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event & Programme Support
Coordinate logistics for CD events, such as booking venues, arranging catering, and preparing event materials (e.g., name tags, attendee lists).
Support administrative processes for inbound and outbound programmes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
2. Communication & Marketing Support
Assist in CD marketing efforts, including preparing newsletters and posting opportunities on CD publicity channels, as required.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
3. Undergraduate Professional Readiness Experience Support
Manage data entry and maintain accuracy of programme records.
Provide logistical support for the annual Professional Readiness event and related activities.
Assist with coordination for assessment centres.
4. Coverage During Maternity Leave (May 2025 Onwards)
Oversee ongoing administrative tasks previously managed by the maternity leave staff member, ensuring smooth handover and continuity.
Provide additional operational support as required to cover critical areas of CD operations.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned to support the CD team in delivering its programmes and initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative roles, with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Canva or other basic design tools is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility and adaptability to cover evolving needs during the contract period.
