About The Job
The SUSS Core supports the university’s mission by providing a transformative experience that educates students holistically – cognitively, socially, and creatively. It equips students with values, skills and knowledge to become adaptive, resilient global citizens, ready to engage with the challenges of the 21st century. The Head (Partnerships & Development), Experiential Learning, a Senior Manager level role reporting to the Deputy Dean (Experiential Learning), is responsible for outreach, partnerships and communications to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the SUSS Core.
What You Will Be Doing
Partnership Development and Ecosystem Building
Identify and engage with potential local and international partners, including academic institutions, industry and community organisations, to cultivate and sustain mutually beneficial collaborations.
Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to align partnerships with department priorities, facilitating partner involvement as project advisors, guest speakers, and contributors to university-community/industry initiatives, while enhancing partner engagement and recognition strategies.
Manage a portfolio of partners, coordinating with other departments on partnership-related matters and supporting the preparation of necessary documentation.
Coordinate meetings with partners, track outcomes, and collaborate with programme owners to maintain records of partnership activities, preparing and providing regular reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Support cross-department collaboration on funding and sponsorship strategies for university-community/industry projects and student initiatives.
Represent the university at events and conferences to promote its programmes and foster new partnerships.
Oversee department communications strategies in alignment with broader College and university-wide objectives.

Support department events and activities, as well as university-wide projects and activities.
Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
Degree holder with at least 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the education sector.
Proven experience in relationship management, business development, or a related role. Experience working with education partners and/or community organisations locally and regionally will be advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, and a high level of integrity.
Excellent teamwork capabilities, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and align partnerships with organisational goals.
Excellent coordination, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Flexibility for local and international travel.
