We are seeking for a results-driven and innovative team player to lead key logistics initiatives across both regional and domestic operations in the Asia Pacific (AP) region.
This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing operational performance, implementing emerging technologies, ensuring compliance, and promoting sustainable practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive impactful solutions that support Sony’s strategic logistics goals and continuous improvement across the region.
What you will be doing
Drive and coordinate operational improvement activities and KPI performance with cost-benefit analysis.
Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including coordination, process documentation, compliance audits, and issue resolution to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory alignment.
Support tender processes and vendor performance evaluations.
Support logistics cost budgeting and regular cost analysis reporting to management.
Promote logistics compliance through training, audits, and knowledge sharing within AP region.
Identify opportunities to implement emerging technologies and improve efficiency and enhance decision making through data-driven analysis.
Propose and evaluate eco-friendly logistics initiatives to align with Sony’s environmental sustainability goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
Facilitate logistics meetings, projects and to provide regional or HQ support as required.
What you should have
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2 – 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, or a similar domain.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with teams across multiple geographies, functions and levels.
Familiarity with best practices in warehousing, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
Familiarity with digital tools and platforms such as Cloud-based platforms and AI technologies.
