Operations Management
Oversee daily lounge operations, ensuring smooth service and top-tier guest experiences
Manage scheduling, inventory, and procurement of Japanese beverages (sake, shochu, whisky) and food items
Ensure the company is compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain quality control
Customer Experience
Deliver exceptional Japanese-style hospitality (omotenashi) to all guests
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly
Build relationships with regular guests and VIP clients
Lead efforts in curating seasonal events or sake-tasting experiences
Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise service staff, including bartenders and servers
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
Motivate and inspire staff to maintain high standards of service and etiquette
Financial & Administrative Duties
Monitor revenue, manage budgets, and track KPIs
Optimize cost control and forecast resource needs
Prepare monthly reports on sales, labor costs, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in operations management within a high-end hospitality environment, preferably with exposure to lounge or bar operations. This suggests a pattern of successfully managing daily workflows and ensuring service excellence.
Comprehensive understanding of Japanese beverages, including sake (various classifications, production methods, and serving etiquette), shochu, and Japanese whisky. Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes specific to these items is highly valued. This indicates the candidate possesses a specialized knowledge base crucial for the role.
Proven ability to ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety standards, and licensing regulations relevant to food and beverage service. Experience in implementing and maintaining compliance protocols is essential. This highlights the candidate's understanding of critical legal and safety aspects.
