CAD Drafter

Technical Detailing:

• Interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to produce precise mesh layout/shop drawings.
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and mesh cutting/fabrication lists based on project requirements.
• Optimize mesh design to suit manufacturing constraints and reduce wastage (standard vs custom mesh).
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar) to generate detailed mesh drawings.
• Liaise with consultants, engineers, and site personnel to clarify requirements and resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Ensure drawings comply with SS560, SS EN 1992, BS 8666, and other relevant codes/standards.

Planning & Coordination:

• Translate project timelines into production and delivery plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, QA/QC) to align supply chain activities.
• Track inventory of standard and special meshes to avoid shortfalls or overstocking.
• Monitor actual usage on-site and update forecasts to improve accuracy and minimize wastage.
• Plan and schedule deliveries to meet Just-in-Time (JIT) requirements, minimizing on-site storage.
