IT Systems Administrator

As a System Administrator, you will maintain and secure the project's infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of network systems and applications. This role involves identifying and resolving system issues, anticipating potential problems, repairing software and systems, and responding to cybersecurity threats and alerts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage AWS Cloud Instances, KVM infrastructure, virtual machines, clusters, and storage; monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain databases and storage systems, including provisioning, data backup, and disaster recovery.
• Deploy and manage network infrastructure, ensuring seamless software updates, patching, and hardening.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data sharing using Python and SQL tools.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including user accounts, GPOs, and domain controllers.
• Respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents, providing temporary or permanent resolutions.
• Review network security processes, test security products, and provide recommendations.
• Offer guidance, training, and troubleshooting documentation for internal and external teams.
• Ensure support delivery aligns with project SLAs and gather necessary logs for ticket resolution.
• Monitor infrastructure daily, document technical processes, and assist in recommending improvements.
• Support application deployment activities.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Communication, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with expertise in AWS Cloud, KVM, Networking, and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Windows batch scripting, and SQL.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security concepts.
• Experience with COTS infrastructure and recommending operational improvements.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, RHEL Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
