Senior Network Engineer (1-Year Contract)

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining their network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support daily operations and project implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage LAN, WAN, and Wireless networks across multiple sites.
• Implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues, outages, and security incidents.
• Deploy and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Work closely with our client’s internal IT teams to support network migrations, upgrades, and expansion projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices.
• Provide technical documentation and guidance to stakeholders.
• Support cloud networking on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Travel to client sites within Singapore and overseas when required.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Cisco Networking Certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is required.
• Strong knowledge of network routing and switching (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.).
• Experience in configuring and managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Familiarity with DNS, NAC (e.g., ClearPass), VPN, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a client-facing environment.
• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE) would be an advantage.
• Willing to travel to various client sites (local/abroad) as required.
