Software Test Engineer (Permanent Position)

🛠️ Job Description

• Design and execute test plans and cases based on user stories and requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, APIs, and backend services
• Work closely with developers and product teams for full test coverage
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)
• Log and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain and improve test scripts and automation frameworks
• Support CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated tests
• Align testing practices with DevSecOps and secure coding principles

✅ Requirements

• ~3 years of experience in software testing (manual automation)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and defect tracking
• Hands-on with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and backend testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Good communicator with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
