Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: East
Responsibilities
Process Oversight & Reporting: Communicate updates to the Quality Manager (QM), provide weekly reports on issues and department performance.
Quality Improvement & Compliance: Develop and maintain quality standards, conduct monthly internal audits, and address vulnerabilities.
Customer & Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality issues, manage feedback, ECNs, and NCRs, and handle scrap jobs and NCR documentation.
Operational Excellence: Monitor performance data, implement safeguards for disruptions, and oversee document control for procedural reviews.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Precision Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience in quality engineering in precision manufacturing.
Skills:
Strong understanding of quality systems, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Audit experience, Internal Audit Certification, Lean Six Sigma, and proficiency in quality reporting and metrics analysis.
