Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of marine and industrial automation equipment, including:
Marine boiler PLC and HMI control systems (various makes)
Marine air conditioning and refrigeration PLC and HMI systems (various makes)
Switchboard ACB retrofit control wiring and ACB repair
Generator power systems (AVR, rotating diodes, excitation systems)
Auto load sharing, standby start sequence, and Power Management Systems
Inert Gas Systems and Inert Gas Generators
Alarm Monitoring Systems (server/client-based, HDD imaging, system replacement)
Tank Gauging Systems (Radar, reed switch, servo types)
Hydraulic valve controls and hydraulic power pack systems for cargo valves
Framo system controls and logical troubleshooting
Oil Water Separators
ODME systems
Motor starters, sequence start, and Emergency Stop systems
Main engine maneuvering and safety systems
Diesel generator control and safety systems
Lighting control and distribution
24VDC system control and distribution
Marine Radar, VHF, ECDIS, VDR, Gyro, MF/HF, FBB, AIS, BNWAS
IT systems hardware, network switches, routers, and firewalls
Custody transfer metering systems (turbine meters, PD meters)
Bi-directional prover and small volume prover water draw calibration
Pressure, temperature, and level instrument calibration and verification
Fire detection systems
Gas detection systems (fixed, sampling, and portable types)
Water mist systems
Galley equipment
Carry out repair work on board ships at Singapore Inner Anchorage, Outer Anchorage, and port berths.
Travel overseas on short notice to perform repair, retrofit, or installation work.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
