Java Software Engineer - Singapore

We are looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer with a passion for developing enterprise-level applications. If you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java software development and a keen interest in low-code platforms like Mendix, this opportunity is for you!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain : Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and applications.
• System Support : Investigate and resolve system issues; support enhancements and changes.
• Collaborate : Work closely with project teams to manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Optimize Performance : Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
• Document & Design : Create and update technical documentation, system design, and specifications.

Requirement:

• At least 3 years in Java and Java EE development using frameworks such as Struts, JSF, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, or iBatis.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Agile Development with a solid understanding of Agile delivery principles.
  Proficiency in developing Java EE web applications and working with Java UI frameworks.
• Low-Code Platforms :
  Knowledge or experience with low-code platforms such as Mendix is advantageous.
  OR Willingness to undergo training and certification in Mendix if required.

This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
