SAFETY OFFICER

• Conduct daily workplace inspections and rectify any unsafe practices or conditions
• Implement and monitor Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) and ensure compliance with WSH Act and ISO standards
• Lead investigations of WSH incidents/accidents and prepare formal reports with root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
• Conduct incident and accident investigations, prepare comprehensiove reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize and deliver in-house WSH training, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings.
• Develop and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedues (SWP), and other safety documentation.
• Prepare monthly safety performance reports and dashboards for management review.
• Tabulate and analyze WSH performace data and maintain accurate safety documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols for all site activities, including lifting, excavation, road works
• Provide strong oversight in road safety and safe operations of landscape machinery (e.g. mulchers, wood chippers, vehicles) in active worksites

Job Requirements

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM and Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction or landscape-related environments
• Familiarity with safety practices related to traffic management, landscape equipment, and public road interfaces is a strong advantage
• Independent, detail-oriented and proactive in enforcing safety practices.
