Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Mechanical Engineer: Job Responsibilities Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out systematically, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations.
Enhance existing preventive maintenance systems to reduce costs and improve equipment performance.
Create, update, and maintain SOPs, ISO documentation, and regulatory equipment registrations.
Lead and coordinate modifications, additions, or replacements in the system through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
Assist the department manager and supervisor in overseeing daily operations and activities.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and equipment malfunctions.
Work closely with the operations team to execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance programs for optimal equipment performance.
Provide training for technicians and staff on equipment maintenance and oversee the implementation of 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
Assist in identifying faults and proposing action plans for system or process improvements.
Participate in new projects, handle document preparation, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and manage related administrative tasks.
Monitor and maintain spare parts and tools for mechanical and electrical instruments.
Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations within the section.
Oversee the proper documentation and record-keeping of maintenance activities. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Facilities Maintenance Engineering.
Minimum 3 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in large-scale industrial settings such as manufacturing, mining, or waste management.
Expertise in mechanical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
Proficiency in CAD software, CMMS software, and other engineering design tools
Basic hands-on experience in mechanical equipment repair and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment.
Familiarity with pump alignment and health monitoring inspection.
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance planning and execution.
Ability to work independently and manage contractors and technicians.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: Salary: Up to SGD 4,100 AWS VB (1 Month) Joining Bonus Quarterly Incentive
Working Location: Tuas Crescent
Working Hours: 5.5 Work Days, Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm), Alternate Sat (8am to 12pm)
