Your role
Are you a leader in M&A and corporate finance analysis and execution? Do you enjoy solving demanding problems as part of a team? Do you know how to come up with creative ideas and solutions for clients?

We’re looking for an Investment Banker to:

• execute and originate M&A and other corporate finance advisory transactions for our key corporate and private equity clients, with a keen eye for details
• create internal and external partnerships by increasing depth and breadth of existing client dialogue and relationships
• generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
• make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory and legal standards)
• assist in the management of a team and plan overall resource requirements, by recruiting, developing and retaining talented individuals
• lead by example with resilience, focus and a clear vision of shared goals to motivate and inspire others
  
  

Your team
You’ll be working in the Mergers & Acquisitions team based in Singapore, covering transactions across Asia with a particular focus on South-East Asia. Our team works closely with colleagues in sector and country coverage to grow and retain trusted advisory relationships with key corporate and private equity clients, and is responsible for executing a wide range of public and private market M&A transactions. The team coordinates with M&A colleagues across APAC and globally.

Your expertise

• track record in supporting and leading the execution of private and public market M&A transactions, ideally with experience across multiple South-East Asian markets
• team player, able to partner effectively with coverage and sector teams
• able to supervise junior bankers and oversee the day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, while also supporting senior bankers as needed in client coverage, mandate origination and team management
• well-developed negotiation skills. Presents effectively and with confidence
• currently working in the M&A department of a bulge bracket investment bank, or equivalent experience set
