Business Development Manager ($7k/Tai Seng/5 days)

Our client is a well-established local company. They are a leading supplier of printing and packaging solutions, turnkey software manufacturing, value chain management services, 3rd party logistics, reverse logistics & distribution to multinational clients worldwide. Due to their expansion, their operations at TAI SENG area is currently looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (PRINTING)

Work location: Tai Seng (Walking distance from Tai Seng MRT)

Work days: 5 days week, Mondays - Fridays 8.30am - 5.45pm

Work terms: Permanent with attractive benefits

Purpose:

• To identify, implement and execute action plans which are aimed at achieving the strategic objectives of the Group.
• To identify and engage new customers in green fields.
• To gain entry to new markets.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Identify potential and new greenfield opportunities that support the company's future strategic profile.
• Assist in conducting and formulating comprehensive studies on business solutions for implementation.
• Assist in pilot testing of business solutions with customers, potential partners, suppliers and internal business units and personnel.
• Identify strategic leveraging opportunities within the group in order to expand geographic footprints, and deepen business and relationships with target customers, and facilitate the realisation of identified potential.
• Sell new solutions and cut deals.

Pre-requisites

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or closely related field
• At least 5 years in business development role is required for Managerial position
• Good analytical skill, capable of doing in-depth analysis, providing insights to market and customer trends, market needs and possible 'winning' solutions to address identified opportunities and gaps.
• Self-driven, persistent, highly motivated and passionate about serving customers by going the extra miles.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality to seek out new contacts and build relationships and convert them into customers.
• Willing to work under fast paced and challenging environment
• Able to travel in the region with short notice.
