Equipment Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor MNC )

The client is the world leading semiconductor company from USA. It is ranked as one of the “Top Best Places to Work in Singapore”. Below position is open urgently.

Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician (12 months Contract, Renewable)

Venue: Bendemeer

Working Hours: 12 hr rotating shift (day & night)

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings

• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts

• Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers

• Perform Preventive Maintenance and necessary equipment calibrations

• Be responsible for meeting shift critical metric (Key Performance Indicators) ensuring equipment operating in specified performance levels

• Prepare shift reports and conduct shift passdowns

• Lead CIP (Continuous Improvement Projects) with fellow team members

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or automation-related fields

• Certificates from technical or vocational education with relevant course of study preferably relevant to automation-related fields

• Preferably with 2 years of working experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment

• Self-starter, inquisitive and hands-on attitude with safety mentality

Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift (every 2 weeks rotating)
