Business Development Manager (Contract Logistics / East / 5 days) - WC2

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager (Hunter) to spearhead new business initiatives in contract logistics. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and securing new clients, expanding market reach, and crafting customized logistics solutions that meet client demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in contract logistics across target industries.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Conduct thorough market research to understand customer supply chain challenges and propose tailored solutions.
• Create and deliver customized contract logistics proposals that align with client needs and operational capabilities.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring long-term, profitable partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and legal) to ensure smooth contract execution.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account acquisition within the logistics or supply chain industry, with a strong focus on contract logistics.
• Demonstrated success in hunting and winning new business in a competitive environment.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build strategic relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient in achieving business objectives.
