About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (Hunter) to drive new business opportunities within contract logistics. This role is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new customers, expanding our market presence, and developing tailored logistics solutions to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in contract logistics.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer supply chain challenges and offer tailored logistics solutions.
• Develop and present customized contract logistics proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and operational capabilities.
• Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring profitable and sustainable partnerships.
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, and legal) to ensure seamless implementation of new contracts.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on revenue growth and market share expansion.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account acquisition within the logistics or supply chain industry, with a focus on contract logistics.
• Proven track record in hunting and securing new business in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop strategic relationships and influence key decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
