Key Account Manager (Farmer) – Contract Logistics - WC2

About the Role:

We are looking for a Key Account Manager (80% Farmer / 20% Hunter) to nurture and grow existing customer relationships in the contract logistics sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, optimizing service delivery, and expanding business within key accounts to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their supply chain needs.
• Develop strategies to retain and grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities for service expansion and upselling additional logistics solutions.
• Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional service levels.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of contract logistics services.
• Monitor account performance, analyze service metrics, and proactively propose improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Lead periodic business reviews with clients to discuss performance, challenges, and future collaboration.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide value-added insights to clients.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in key account management, client servicing, or sales within the logistics or supply chain industry, particularly in contract logistics.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with a consultative approach to managing clients.
• Proven ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue expansion.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
