Deputy Centre Lead (Preschool) - North/ East

Responsibilities

• Support Centre Lead in managing daily preschool operations, ensuring ECDA compliance.
• Supervise and mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide training.
• Implement curriculum aligned with the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) and ensure high-quality educational programs.
• Ensure health, safety, and child protection regulations are followed, conducting safety checks.
• Engage with parents, address concerns, and organize parent events.
• Ensure preschool meets ECDA licensing requirements and handles administrative tasks (attendance, enrollment, budgeting).
• Monitor quality assurance of programs to meet educational standards.
• Lead problem-solving efforts and resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or a Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL) is an added advantage but is not compulsory
• Experience: 3-5 years in early childhood education, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Familiar with ECDA regulations and EYDF.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passionate about child development and early childhood education.
