Operations Manager (Funeral Industry)

• Conduct morning briefings and updates, and delegate duties to Team Leaders.
• Provide budgetary updates to the Finance Department.
• Oversee the timely preparation of monthly schedules, such as standby and night service.
• Oversee and follow up on consolidating feedback from teams, families, and clients, and review feedback/complaints as necessary.
• Ensure quality control related to standards, rituals, and customs.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
• Review standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, templates, and lists to ensure operational efficiency in consultation with Team Leaders.
• Plan and review compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures.
• Oversee the morale, welfare, and health of all operations staff.
• Manage human resource matters with Team Leaders, including leave approval, overtime, and urgent requests.
• Oversee recruitment and personnel interviews.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director (MD).
