Preschool Centre Lead - East Area / AOP Operator

Job Responsibilites:

• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations from the outset, in accordance with local regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate closely with relevant agencies to fulfill all regulatory requirements.
• Mentor teachers to promote a collaborative approach to learning, teaching, and evaluation, aiming to enhance performance standards and competencies.
• Provide leadership in setting the school’s overall goals, aligning them with curriculum objectives.
• Develop and manage the budget, ensuring effective control of expenditures.
• Oversee the disbursement of funds for purchases.
• Maintain accurate records of income and expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the board and senior management.

Role Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education - (Leadership) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent qualification.
• Certifications: Must possess EDCA (L2) certification or relevant qualifications.
• Experience: Several years of experience in early childhood education, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role being an advantage.
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is typically required.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s Early Childhood Landscape: Familiarity with the Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) framework, SPARK Accreditation, and other relevant guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and ECDA.
