Job Posting for Quantity Surveyor (Marine Civil Engineering) - WC2 at WECRUIT PTE. LTD.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Tender and Bidding Team, including tasks such as quantity measurement, preparation of Bills of Quantities, contract and drawing review, specification interpretation, handling Requests for Information (RFI) and Clarifications, obtaining supplier quotations, building tender base costs and final submission prices, compiling mandatory submission documents, preparing tender cost proposals for management review, and attending site briefings or kick-off meetings (if required).
Manage and supervise contract administration for assigned projects, covering project procurement, main contract and subcontract administration, and evaluation of price comparisons and costing summaries.
Assist in sourcing and comparing at least three (3) quotations for project material requests, liaise with suppliers and purchasing teams, and monitor project order schedules.
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, variation orders, final account settlements, and ensure timely submission of invoices.
Evaluate subcontractors’ progress claims, issue payment responses, and process final payments.
Address project issues such as Extension of Time (EOT), terms and conditions, prolongation claims, and loss and expense claims.
Perform other duties related to Quantity Surveying as required.
Requirements:
A minimum diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in cost estimation software/tools and experience in sourcing, purchasing, and billing.
