The Regional Executive will oversee product safety, environmental, and chemical regulations across the region, aiming for full compliance. This role involves adapting to regulatory changes, ensuring audit readiness, and developing e-learning modules for compliance training across all sales companies. The candidate will lead regional subsidiaries, provide regulatory guidance, manage certifications, and ensure best practices for product compliance.

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Adaptation:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations on product safety, environmental, and chemical standards.
  • Lead efforts to quickly align with regulatory changes across the region.
  • Collaborate with vendors and industry experts to track legal updates and reduce compliance risks.

Audit Preparedness & Certification:

  • Oversee regional audit readiness, identifying gaps in product safety processes.
  • Manage the renewal of product certifications.
  • Participate in and organize internal and external audits and meetings related to safety and compliance.

Process Management & Improvement:

  • Establish standardized safety and trade compliance processes for all regional products.
  • Use benchmarking to improve compliance metrics and performance.
  • Regularly update compliance processes to meet changing regulatory requirements.

Risk Mitigation & Incident Resolution:

  • Monitor and address compliance risks, providing solutions for closing gaps.
  • Work closely with country teams to ensure alignment with regional regulatory frameworks.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Coaching:

  • Guide sales subsidiaries on regulatory procedures and compliance strategies.
  • Act as the main contact for safety and product compliance, working with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Mentor local product safety officers on compliance best practices.

E-learning Development for Compliance:

  • Lead the development and implementation of e-learning modules on product compliance.
  • Work with training teams to ensure e-learning materials reflect current regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously update e-learning content based on feedback and changes in regulations.
