Want to work at the intersection of market insight, regulation, and the green energy transition?

We’re looking for a Policy & Data Analyst to help unlock market opportunities in a rapidly evolving industry. You’ll play a key role in understanding demand, pricing, project pipeline developments, and regulatory drivers in the global Power-to-X and green methanol space.

This is a high-impact position within a fast-scaling cleantech company with international ambitions and a strong technology foundation.

Your primary responsibilities:


Market & Project Intelligence

• Analyze supply-demand dynamics for methanol and other green molecules

• Track and forecast global project pipeline and competitive positioning

• Map investment and growth trends across key geographies and industries

Pricing & Policy

• Develop and maintain green methanol pricing models

• Forecast price drivers and support offtake negotiations

• Translate complex policy and regulatory frameworks into strategic insights

Tools & Collaboration

• Build and maintain dashboards and market trackers (PowerBI, Excel, etc.)

• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Executive) and external policy experts

• Manage external data providers and ensure accuracy and relevance of intelligence


We’re looking for someone who has:

• A background in Economics, Business, Engineering, or Data Science (Master’s preferred)

5 years of experience in market intelligence, consulting, or analytics – ideally in PtX, energy, fuels, or sustainability

• Strong skills in PowerBI, Excel, and pricing/modeling tools

• Python for data analysis (e.g. pandas, Jupyter)

• Familiarity with SQL or statistical tools


Soft skills & mindset:

• Strategic and analytical thinker with strong communication skills

• Comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders across seniority levels

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Strong grasp of PtX market dynamics and the impact of regulation
