Customer Service Officer
As a Customer Service Officer, you are the first point of contact for our clients. You will provide clear and accurate information, support daily banking operations, and ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality service. Working closely with your team, you will help manage client files and ensure smooth communication between clients and internal departments.
📝Function description
Ensure day-to-day contact with end customers:
Act as the first point of contact for our customers.
Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
Provide commercial and administrative support:
Active involvement in domestic and international account opening processes.
Support for credit-related and daily banking aspects.
Follow-up on risk and profitability reports, client file management, and compliance obligations (managing deadlines, client contacts, and discussing complex files with internal stakeholders).
Client portfolio management:
Handle a dedicated client portfolio within an experienced team of commercial support officers.
Act as the primary contact for daily banking-related questions.
Serve as a backup during the Relationship Manager’s absence.
Quality service delivery:
Strive for high-value service, ensuring internal procedures and deadlines are respected.
💪Competencies
Dutch/French: Strong spoken and written communication skills.
English: Spoken and/or written communication skills are a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in customer service or finance.
Required experience/knowledge:
Technical experience:
Mandatory: Good expertise in MS Office.
Business experience:
Mandatory: Strong interest in finance and banking (products).

Strong communicator, diplomatic, and customer-oriented.
Quality-minded with a commercial spirit.
Able to work independently.
Stress-resistant and flexible.
Analytical with a pragmatic approach.
Organized with strong follow-up capabilities.
