Risk Officer

Our client is an international Bank and they are looking for a Risk Officer, for the Risk Management Department under a permanent contract.

Your responsibilities:

• Identify, control, monitor, assess and report risk arising from market activities;
• Review daily treasury transactions, monitor and manage market risk limits, and conduct post- trade control over the portfolio including FX, money market transactions, bonds and derivatives; Collaborate with the trading desks to evaluate hedging strategies, bond portfolio and derivatives portfolio;
• Supervise the risk management functions of subordinated branches under market risk scope; Implement and optimize internal and regulatory reporting related to Market risk;
• Support the department on overall risk management including identification, control and monitoring of existing and emerging risks;
• Support the department in supervising Branches and liaise timely with internal stakeholders, including senior management and audit function;  Ensure compliance with relevant risk regulations and frameworks (CRR, CRD,etc).

Your profile:

• Master degree in economics, finance, or statistics from business school university/engineering school;
• Fluent in English;
• 2 years’ experience in risk management field in an international bank or in consulting will be considered as an asset;
• Good at statistics and data processing in Excel and Access (VBA and/or Python skills are needed);
• FRM charter holder or candidate is preferred;
• Team player and positive personality;
• Collaborative personality, well organized and ability to complete tasks independently
