THE ROLE

The International Strategy Manager, Global Partnership Operations (Europe) will be an integral member of the Legends Global Partnerships Team, located at one of our major European hubs in Madrid. The Manager will be responsible for working with active sponsorship property accounts and internal stakeholders. This person will aid in business intelligence/category research initiatives and manage special projects across Legends Global Partnerships team.

The International Strategy Manager, Global Partnerships will report to the Global Strategy Director while directly aiding operational support across a number of different areas within the International and US partnership teams.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support creative strategy across priority international projects.
  • Manage alongside the Creative Manager, the prioritisation of international creative requests.
  • Manage own creative sales presentations, alongside sales leads.
  • Own and manage strategic elements of key international projects, as agreed with Global Strategy Director.
  • Assist wider LGP team in relation to global project needs with regard to sales delivery.
  • Lead on research projects to improve prospecting methodology, using up-to-date insights to ensure sales teams are engaged with the highest quality prospects.
  • Support international business growth with insights-led property analysis.
  • Assist in the development of sales related documents, working in collaboration with various internal and external members of the team to stay ahead of industry trends (i.e. Keynote presentations, detailed proposals, fact sheets, etc.)




KEY ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3 years related work experience, preferably within the sports & entertainment industry


Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly self-motivated, initiative-taking mindset that enables the ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized, with a laser-like focus on the details to proactively manage multiple clients/projects/priorities at once.
  • Proactive attitude with a very strong blend of analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize various data/feedback to help deliver succinct recaps.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to communicate effectively with internal sales and management teams in English.
  • Strong skills in Adobe and the Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel.
