Trainee, POLITICO Studio/Live (Brussels)

POLITICO is seeking a trainee primarily to support the development and execution of strategic campaigns for our events produced by POLITICO Studio . The trainee will help drive audience engagement across key digital channels.

What You'll Do

• Help plan and implement bespoke and granular audience recruitment strategies for Studio/white-label events across multiple channels, in particular email and social media.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including design and sales, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of campaigns.

• Monitor quality of contact database, implement plan for acquiring and integrating new data, identification and qualification of key contacts

• Support marketing managers in executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms.

• Craft targeted audience segments using our email marketing tools to effectively engage attendees.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze campaign results, and report on success metrics using tools like Adobe Analytics and DOMO.

• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to drive audience recruitment, brand consistency, and campaign impact.

• Provide organizational and project support across event marketing initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed.

• Support marketing managers in executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
  

What You'll Need

• Creative, adaptable, a team player.

• Strong copywriting skills.

• Experience with digital platforms including social and CMS.

• Fluency in English/French, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German a plus.

• Studies in European affairs, business, marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of EU institutions a plus.

• Interest in events, content, direct marketing, presales/sales, or digital marketing.

• Analytical mindset.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks.
