UX/UI Designer | Freelance

What you'll be doing:

• Implement appealing components and design libraries for both web and mobile applications
• Actively promote design and change within the organization through coaching and workshops
• Develop user-centered designs, including wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications to ensure seamless user experiences
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts
• Clearly communicate design rationale and present your solutions to stakeholders
• Maintain consistency and scalability by adhering to design systems, style guides and pattern libraries
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in UX/UI design

Who you are:

• Expertise in modern front-end development, with deep knowledge of Angular and strong command of CSS/SCSS
• Proven experience in setting up scalable CSS libraries with reusable design tokens and variables synced from Figma
• Solid understanding and hands-on use of Figma variables and tokens in collaborative design-to-dev workflows
• Skilled in building and maintaining Angular libraries that support multiple Angular versions across different branches
• Familiarity with Storybook and atomic design principles for building consistent, testable UI components
• Proactive mindset: you are quick to spot potential risks and areas for improvement and you take initiative to act on them
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – and you can clearly document and preach the library to internal teams
• A team player who thrives in cross-functional collaboration, and can bridge the gap between design and development
