Job Title: QA Consultant
Location: Munsbach, Luxembourg
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Consultant to join our dynamic team in Munsbach, Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of QA methodologies, particularly within the banking sector, and demonstrate expertise in both manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive QA strategies for various applications (frontend/backend) and workflows.
Generate and execute high- and low-level test cases, document test results, and report identified quality issues from different test environments.
Collaborate with test automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test cases, and support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Organize and conduct demo sessions for business stakeholders and support them during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Proactively identify and suggest improvements in QA procedures and strategies.
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, developers, and other department members to ensure quality standards are met.
Required Qualifications
University degree in an IT or finance-oriented field.
Significant experience in functional and non-functional software testing, with professional experience in the usage of test management tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Azure DevOps).
Experience with agile software development processes and techniques, particularly Scrum.
Basic professional experience with database testing (ideally MSSQL) and API testing (e.g., Postman).
Practical experience in structured programming (e.g., Python, SQL, C#, or Java).
ISTQB certification (foundational or advanced) is highly desirable.
Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in French is an advantage.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in the banking sector, particularly with credit cards or payment processes.
Experience with integration testing of system components.
Expertise in test automation for APIs/web services, web, and mobile applications.
Knowledge of non-functional testing, including performance and security testing.
Experience with Temenos Transact Core Banking System is a plus.
