Job Summary : Responsible for assisting the driver with route preparation; navigating the route; loading, unloading and assembling documents and merchandise at the customer's location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• navigate driver to the location including getting out of the truck at the location to assist driver in maneuvering around power lines, driveways, trees, etc.
• Telephone customers and notify them of expected arrival time.
• Maintain 5S's Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in dock areas including exterior truck wells.
• Accurately load and unload documents / merchandise on and off the truck. Ensure documents / merchandise are secure, safe and free from damage.
• Place and assemble merchandise at customer location as required.
• Assist Daily with paperwork as needed.
• Occasionally fill in as driver ( if properly licensed) when driver is absent.
• Adherence to the Company's appearance guidelines.

Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 18 years or age. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

Education / Certification / Licensure

• must have high school diploma or equivalent
• must have a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Ability to effectively use power and hand tools

Working Conditions / Physical Abilities

Must be able to ride and / or operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis for extended periods of time; and climb in and out of vehicle.

Frequently operate power and hand tools. Continuously sit, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb (on and off the truck; stairs), lift and carry at least 100 pounds, push, pull and grip.

Occasionally may lift above shoulder level.

Compensation : $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
