Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with heavy equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of heavy machinery
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used
- Coordinate with equipment operators to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Travel to customer sites for equipment maintenance and repair as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- DOT certification is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
