Our client, a leading machinery services and repairs company, is currently seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join their team to cover the Lafayette, LA territory. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators in various customer locations. Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair generators in customer locations
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with generators
- Create detailed reports on work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient job completion
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Generator Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of generator maintenance and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
