Job Description Installs, configures, maintains, and supports network components and infrastructure according to Information Systems & Technology standards and industry best practices. Serves as part of team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable, highly available network architecture that meets business objectives and service level agreements. Experience 2 years of experience in a technical support position supporting a Cisco Collaboration environment: Call Manager Telepresence Webex Cisco Unity Connection Cisco Unified Border Element Voice gateways MGCP and SIP PRI/T1, analog FXO/FXS Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) IP phones (8851, 8832) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting Experience in traditional private branch exchange and voicemail system integration to a unified communications environment Experience in a technical support position supporting Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise Education Associate's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience Certification Summary No professional certifications required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understanding of the Cisco Collaboration solutions architecture (Expressways, Webex, Call Manager, Unity Connection, Video Mesh, Cisco Unified Border Element, Telepresence, E.164) Knowledge of how to configure the IP Phone signaling protocols of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) Knowledge of how to integrate and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications Manager with LDAP for user synchronization and user authentication Knowledge of how to implement Cisco Unified Communications Manager provisioning features Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (12.5 and above) Knowledge of Cisco Unity Connection (12.5 and above) Knowledge of voice gateways, e.g., MGCP, SIP, digital PRI/T1, analog FXO/FXS, Cisco Unified Border Element, SRST Knowledge of Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) Knowledge of Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise Job Responsibilities Provides level 1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve customers and network issues. Participates in daily and after-hours on-call support for network operating needs. Available 24/7 for issues and problem escalations during On-Call rotation Participates in P1 leadership escalation management when requested. Monitors systems alerts and performance/utilization reporting. Troubleshooting network problems and outages and schedules/implements patches, upgrades, hot fixes, and security configurations. Assisting unified communications engineering team with maintenance-related upgrades to all Collaboration systems.
