What to expect: Work Hours: Monday through Friday regular business hours We offer competitive medical, dental, vision and matching 401-K plans Paid vacation, sick and holidays, tuition assistance, commuter benefits Job Overview: The initial focus of the Senior Manager Organizational Development and Engagement is to lead the strategy and execution of a holistic employee listening strategy. The primary purpose of this role is to lead, design, and implement global talent initiatives including employee listening/engagement, performance development, change management, organizational design, and organizational effectiveness interventions. Reporting to the Director of Talent & Organizational Development, this role works collaboratively and fluidly across the People team, Marketing Department, global operations teams, and other corporate functions to deliver high impact organizational and employee experience initiatives. Responsibilities: Create and execute a strategic and actionable employee listening/engagement plan including change management and communication strategies in partnership with Talent and Organizational Development Team and Chief People Officer. Partner with business leaders and People Partners to develop targeted engagement plans and employee communications that drive engagement, shape culture, and build a connected employee community. Develop, maintain, and improve employee engagement and communications tools and channels. Design relevant measurement strategies and use data to develop reports, analyze internal campaign results, update internal, employee-facing information, and inform / course correct plans. Develop and implement KPIs to measure the effectiveness of engagement efforts and communications to achieve maximum impact. Partner with business leaders and People Partners Consult, design, develop, and execute global talent and organizational development programs. Create and execute a strategic and actionable employee listening/engagement plan including change management and communication strategies in partnership with Talent and Organizational Development Team and Chief People Officer. Partner with business leaders and People Partners to identify, scope, and lead initiatives that improve employee engagement, operating efficiency, and organizational productivity. Identify critical metrics for the organization and business units to enable effective monitoring and progress realization. Develop, maintain, and improve talent and organizational development tools and channels for initiatives including employee engagement and change management communication Use data to develop reports, analyze internal campaign results, update internal, employee-facing information, and inform / course correct plans. Develop and implement KPIs to measure the effectiveness of T&OD programs and communications to achieve maximum impact. Lead, design, and advise change management strategies across all programs and initiatives. Create change management plans in support of strategic initiatives. Assess organizational impact and organizational readiness for change initiatives on a global, regional, and/or business unit level Work with colleagues to ensure appropriate connection between communications and change in programmatic elements, particularly as we shape the broader employee experience. Develop a repository of Change Management tools Define change goals and measures of success for individual initiatives; Develop, champion, and implement change approaches that take into account diverse stakeholder needs and perspectives Teach and guide others on change management approaches and practices. Design and implement change management communication strategies including planning and executing in-person and virtual engagements, including town halls, with the various stakeholder groups, including drafting speeches, talking points and related materials for internal events for People Team Organizational development/effectiveness interventions Partner closely with business leaders and People Partners to identify, scope, and lead OD/E initiatives. Coach and engage with business leaders to align OD/E efforts with strategic and long-term goals. Work with HR leaders to proactively address OD/E issues by assessing root causes and performance gaps and helping implement appropriate interventions TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Relational Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and building strong working relationships across internal (including as a partner to human resources and marketing teams) in a diverse, global workforce. Strong executive presence. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to articulate and rally teams around a vision A teacher and editor. Demonstrates patience and the ability to teach and guide others how to use tools, e.g., templates, structured approaches, to change, engagement and authoring content Proven success motivating and leading cross functional project teams to complete objectives Business Acumen Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work with limited resources. Superior attention to detail. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to derive actionable insights Proven ability in strategic problem framing, issue identification, and the development of practical business solution Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Training or Communication, English, Education or related field and 10 years of related work experience in organizational development/effectiveness. Preferred experience in a mid-sized organization with a distributed, global employee base and ideally a high production environment. Master’s degree or higher in organizational development, organizational behavior, human resources management, or related fields is preferred. Superb writing and editing skills and a proven ability to modulate written content to achieve distinct objectives and engage target audiences. Proven ability to create and successfully execute impactful employee listening/engagement strategies. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to capture audiences of all levels in the organization. Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into uncluttered, well-structured and easily digestible plans and presentations.
