The Volume Management Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals whose objective is to provide the customer interface associated with managing daily nomination and scheduling activities, collaborate with others to improve the gathering and processing of gas, optimize gas system imbalances, ensure our contractual obligations are met, and implement operational strategies to ensure reliable performance. Responsibilities/Expectations: Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees Develops expense plans and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysis to aid in the understanding and management of operating cost and budget performance Negotiates, reviews, and collaborates on the development of commercial agreements and provides recommendations for approval Investigates and collaborates with company partners to resolve issues Collaborates with internal partners and leadership to develop opportunities for processes and performance improvements, including the implementation of new software, tools, and technology Develops, implements, communicates and manages processes, procedures and standards Participates in regulatory and industry standard organizations to identify methodologies and provide input to potential industry standards and regulations Leads continuous improvement efforts Collects, reviews, analyzes and maintains data vital to generate operational and performance reports Identifies and implements new opportunities for expanded use of data analytics tools and applications to meet business needs Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements and standards Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: Required: Bachelor’s degree, a minimum eight (8) years’ gas management, scheduling and negotiating experience and previous experience leading a team Preferred: A minimum of ten (10) years’ gas management, scheduling and negotiating experience Other Requirements: Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills Needs proficient knowledge of Gaskit, SAP, SharePoint Knowledge of key functionality related to customer service (marketing, commercial, contracts and accounting) In-depth knowledge of energy industry About Tulsa: Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
